On May 14th ,2015 Lisa Ford received a phone call from Amarillo police department stating her son Desmond Ford's car was hit by a train and he was being transported to NWTH. After arriving @ the hospital to find Desmond on a respirator and his blood sugar & potassium was reading really low.
Within hours Desmond was able to breathe on his own. The doctors run multiple scans to see the extent of his injuries. All the scans came back normal. No internal bleeding, no broken bones. PRAISE GOD!!!!Desmond has had really bad headaches and his potassium and blood sugar are not where the doctors want them without being on a sugar drip. He has a small scratch on his cheek and sore all over. I know that God has a plan for Desmond Ford and he was covered by many angels when that train hit his car and drug him for atleast 50ft. He has remained in ICU @ NWTH and his mom and brothers have been by his side. This is a time they need to be with Desmond and work on getting the right answers and the help to assure that Desmond will continue to be ok.
Lisa is a strong Christian woman raising 3 amazing young men. I would like to ask all friends and family to donate to this loving family in this time they will be having many unexpected expenses.
