Hello, we are April's good friends Robin and Jean.

Whether you know April as family, a friend, a coworker, a teacher we are sure she has touched your life with her remarkably warm personality and unforgettable spunk. Regardless if you were in her classroom, working by her side or sitting next to her on the bleachers her presence is always one that wrapped you in kindness and no doubt gave you a laugh.

We are heartbroken to share April has been diagnosed with Triple Positive Breast Cancer. She must undergo aggressive chemotherapy for several months starting immediately. We are devastated for our friend who has given so much to so many and want to support her in any way possible. Her treatments will impact work capabilities and ultimately she will need surgery.

April has forever been a loving and involved Mother to all 5 of her children, Kira, Cole, Brett, Brooke and Isabella. She has attended every basketball, softball, baseball, football and tennis match she could while radiating pure positivity from the sidelines. April has been one of the biggest and best cheerleaders for decades for her family, friends, and students. Now more than ever she needs her own cheering section!!

Our hope is the GoFundMe will help ease the financial burden she's about to face with medical fees, and everyday living expenses. The financial assistance will help her focus on her health and full recovery.

* University of St. Thomas Softball, MN for Brooke
