Uptown Cafe Employee Relief Fund

Our team has been devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic. We considered operating as carryout only but ultimately decided against it to protect our staff from possible exposure to the virus. At this point, our entire staff of roughly 100 people are out of work with minimal options for income.
We're coming to you, our wonderful guests, and asking for assistance. 100% of this fund will be distributed to our staff in an effort to assist them during these desperate times. Funds will be collected by the Uptown Cafe and then dispersed evenly amongst all participating staff members. The Uptown will cover the GoFundMe fees so that every dollar donated will go to the staff.
In case you were wondering, the restaurant WILL be back once it is safe again. We have been knocked down before and will always get back up. We can't wait for the opportunity to serve you all again!
