We are the University of Plymouth Rowing Club, and this year our annual charity 48-hour row will take place from midday on 20th March to midday on 22nd March. During this time, our athletes will be rowing continuously on indoor rowing machines, pushing themselves both physically and mentally to support causes close to our hearts.
We are raising funds to help develop our facilities and equipment, ensuring all our students can make the most of their university rowing experience—whether that’s for wellbeing, enjoyment, or supporting the progression of our high-performance athletes. With ongoing challenges in securing university support, we rely heavily on annual fundraisers like this one to keep our club running and accessible to all.
This year, we are proud to be sharing our fundraising efforts with Hugs Children's Cancer Charity, an incredible charity that supports children with cancer and their families. We are hugely excited to row for such a meaningful cause and truly grateful for any support you can give. Thank you for helping us make this challenge count.
