Lisa's 78 year old mother , Irene Schuster,  was living with  Lisa's aunt who suddenly died a couple months ago. She was then evicted afterwards; and she has no resources for housing. She receives only small social security pension- not nearly enough to cover the going rate for a studio apartment or basic furnishings in the South Florida area...she's currently sleeping in the living room in Lisa's brother's 1 bedroom apartment , but the landlord will only allow her to stay for 30 days. We are working on getting a social worker involved to explore available resources for low income seniors but many of the facilities have 2-5 year waiting lists .  There are no other relatives who are able to help.
