My name is Kevin Brown, and I am fundraising for myself and my two daughters, Nicole and Dena, after the tragic and sudden loss of my wife and their mother, Meaza Brown.

The funds from this campaign will be received directly by me, and I will manage and use them on behalf of our family.

Early Thursday morning on November 20th, 2025, Meaza was walking to work at the University of Pennsylvania with her co-workers near 33rd and Market Streets in Philadelphia when a driver ran a red light and struck her.

She suffered severe head trauma and passed away shortly afterward. She was just 48 years old. The driver fled the scene, and although the vehicle was later found abandoned, no arrests have been made yet.

Meaza was only a few blocks away from work—doing what she did every single day—with dedication and love for our family.

Her life was taken from us in an instant, and our world has been shattered.

Both girls are trying to balance school with an unimaginable loss. I am doing everything I can to support them, but the emotional and financial weight of this tragedy is overwhelming.

I will be using all funds from this campaign to pay for funeral and memorial expenses and to provide immediate financial support for Nicole and Dena as we navigate this difficult and unexpected chapter.
