Uplifting Kevin's Family in Their Hour of Need
Donation protected
These two beautiful people are my friends Kevin and Tiffany Guiler. Kevin is a US Army combat veteran of 7 years and two tours in the Middle East. I met Kevin through our shared love of mountain biking. On social media he goes by "Sport McBee" which led to all kinds of nicknames and shenanigans. That's what I remember most about Kevin, his quick wit, his relentlessly positive outlook. Even when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, you would never know it from his demeanor. Many folks simply didn't understand he was never going to get better. Kevin would always say, "We are doing great."
But things weren't great. They aren't great. Two weeks ago Kevin was admitted to Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital and found out his cancer had spread to multiple organs. Instead of medically-managed years, he is looking at months...or maybe weeks. He and Tiffany need help during this time, and for the days to come where she survives him.
Kevin and Tiffany are the primary care givers to her adult brothers, one of whom has Cerebral Palsy and one who has Autism. Their lives have been lives of service, to family and friends, to their community and country. Now they need us - their friends and family - to serve them. Our goal is to raise enough money to pay for the family to travel to Pennsylvania for Kevin's interment, and to pay mortgage and living expenses for some time while Tiffany forges a new path for the family without Kevin.
