Our Story:

At Cornerstone Youth Collective, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. Founded by Miss Becknell and Marla Mohr, our organization is rooted in a deep commitment to social justice and community empowerment.

Miss Becknell's journey into social services began at a young age, inspired by her great-grandmother's compassionate spirit and her own experiences working with disaster relief services and behavioral health centers. Marla, a survivor of domestic violence and homelessness, turned her adversity into strength, dedicating herself to supporting marginalized youth and families.

Together, Miss Becknell and Marla envisioned a holistic approach to community support, addressing the root causes of poverty, homelessness, and inequality. Through our programs, including housing support, education, vocational training, and mental health resources, we strive to create a path to long-term stability and success for all individuals.
