Uplifting Ann's Fundraiser for Cancer Treatment

Ann has stage 3 ovarian cancer.  She found out about this in May of this year. The doctors made sure Ann’s treatment was started immediately, since originally they thought it was stage 4.  Her cancer had grown to the size of a large cantaloupe before it was caught.  By the Grace of God, it was found on an annual scan for her lungs.  Within a week of the initial CT scan, she was undergoing a laparoscopic biopsy surgery. Since the confirmation of a malignant mass on her ovary, Ann has completed 3 rounds of chemotherapy.  She has been blessed all the way through this.  She lost her hair, but gained an understanding of love and confidence for herself. Ann is a very active member of the Unity Church in Fayetteville.  Amidst treatment, she still makes time preparing for classes and readying herself to be accepted into becoming a minister for Unity. She regularly plays scrabble with friends and immensely enjoys the family time she gets. She cares for others more often than not and never asks for anything in return.

 At this juncture, she faces a financial hardship and is asking for a small blessing from her friends and family.  Up to this point, she has mostly been able to fund the treatments, doctor’s appointments, and surgery.  However, the removal surgery is on September 23rd and the hospital is requiring the payment of her part up front. It’s more than what she is able to come up with on a fixed income in such a short period of time.  After she completes the surgery, she will go back to chemotherapy to blast anything that could be left behind.  So she still has a long road ahead. Any donations from this will go to paying her medical bills.
