Many of you know our mom as "Sunshine Sherri." She is more than our mom, more than a friend; she is our hero. She treats everyone and everything with kindness and compassion. She is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet, and we get to call her mom. She does so much for us, her community, her family, and friends, uplifting spirits with her ever-positive attitude.

What many of you don't know is that our mom lives a life filled with chronic pain and discomfort. After countless tests and hospitalizations, it became apparent that her left kidney is failing. She has been diagnosed with PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). She has severe nephrosis of the left kidney. It is filled with far too many cysts and stones to count. All of this is excruciating and debilitating on a daily basis, yet here she is, out and about making her deliveries and spreading joy, love, and light everywhere she goes. She works tirelessly 7 days a week to make sure that we have all that we need. She is a single mom doing it all on her own. She is the total embodiment of selflessness and sacrifice.

Doctors have decided the best course of action to give her a better quality of life is to remove as many of the cysts & stones as possible. This will leave her unable to work for at least 6-8 weeks. The financial stress of her not being able to work will be crippling for us. How will we pay rent, utilities, groceries, and everyday expenses, in addition to caring for our hero? We are hoping that with open hands and hearts, our community of family, friends, and strangers will uplift us financially during her recovery journey.
