We all know and love the ball of queer joy, kindness, and warmth that is Cam Bourne. Whether you met them as a theater kid back in their youth or as the 'Peanut butter Prophet' on trail in California or Appalachia, you know that they are someone who constantly supports and uplifts their community.

Now, they need our help - it is time for all of us to support and uplift them in turn.

These past few years have been a tough one for many, but for Cam it has been particularly devastating. With hurricaines sweeping away childhood treasures, a serious knee injury ending their life-long dream of an Appalachian Trail thru-hike, and the loss of their beloved Subaru, Susan, Cam has lost their home time and time again. We have all heard that 'home is where the heart is,' and anyone who knows Cam knows that their heart is with all of us who love them.

But beyond that, Cam needs a real home, a space to call their own. They need to be able to pay off the medical bills that have accumulated as they tried to understand and treat their knee injury. They need to be able to take care of their physical body with physical therapy, enough food to eat, and a car to get safely to and from work. They are working, and have been selling artwork to try to make ends meet, but we want to help them build a more stable foundation. This fundraiser would help them pay off the $6,826 medical bill for the MRI of their knee, $1000 for physical therapy for the next two months, and will also be put towards down payment on a used car and first month's rent on a new apartment.

Our favorite working dog needs our love and support more than ever, and I know this community will step up to the plate for Cam, just as they have always stepped up for us.
