Upgrade Of Security Measures at Upwood CC

Upwood Cricket Club near Ramsey had its storage shed and pavilion broken into on Tuesday the 12th of November by four unknown individuals but due to swift action by club members they fled empty handed but damage was done to the doors as they gained entry.

The Police have conducted a review of our current security arrangements and in order to prevent further incidents we need to add to existing security arrangements by adding shutters to all doors and windows plus installing security fence and cameras around the ground.

The Club is looking at around £4 to £5k to complete this work and at present this is beyond our budget so we are looking to raise money towards the costs.

We have a Bingo planned on the 7th of December at Bury VH to help raise money but any donations would be greatly appreciated by all members of the club
