Pierced 2 drums of corrosive liquids with forklift due to substandard load / improper skids and drums were off the skids. Caustic chemical reaction including toxic fumes and reaction to metal, skin and breathing.

New recruit and I were present at this event. No injury to new recruit but Manager was taken by ambulance to PRHC and later transferred to Sunnybrook Critical Burn Unit.

End result being the amputation of 9 of 10 toes. RH side so badly destroyed that they transplanted bottom skin to top and created big toes both sides in the same manner (from bottom). 2 months in Sunnybrook (Toronto) and Rehab Hospital.

Seeking funds ($16000) for help in running and maintaining the household which is a large worry for me and not capable of performing these tasks.

I understand that we all have bills to pay and everyone struggles to make ends meet with the high costs of living. I am appealing for help here as I don’t know where I can get the funds otherwise. I am a very humble man and have been wondering where to go for help.
