The Penn Women’s Club Soccer Team has been extremely busy this fall. We are a competitive and close knit team that plays during the Fall season, and also participates in a few outdoor and indoor games in the Spring. Recently, we added 7 new players to the roster, including 1 sophomore, and 6 freshmen; the Lady Quakers are stronger than ever. Our current record holds at 7-1-1. This year, the team has once again secured a position in the Open Division of the NIRSA National Soccer Championship tournament, which will be taking place on November 21-23rd in Austin, Texas.
Even off the field, our team is very active on campus. Our plethora of team social events has really solidified the bonds that we create on the field, and the friendship we have created is undoubtedly what makes our team so successful. We could not have accomplished any of this without your continued support of PennRec and the Penn Women’s Club Soccer Team.
Though we have been very successful in these endeavors, our current budget does not cover all of our expenses. We are writing to ask for your help in raising $4,000 for our trip to Nationals this season. Without your support, traveling to Nationals might not be a possibility this year, so we really ask that you donate! The future of our club
depends on support from our family, friends, and alumni and trust us when we say that even a small donation goes a long way! Thank you for your time and continued support.
