Updated design equipment

Hello there, my name is Matthew Cason, but most folks just refer to me as Matt. I have a background in graphic design and have more recently had the opportunity to help some ministries I’m involved in with some of their branding and logo needs on a volunteer basis. The 15 year old laptop I have is quite literally falling apart and is well beyond any hope of update or even trade in value.

I’m involved with Hands of Hope USA {the logo of which you can see there in my cover photo [yeah I did that ;)]}, a nonprofit charity that assists kids in Zambia primarily with education and nutrition, among many other aspects of aiding the individuals. We support a school with over 300 students, as well as the teachers and administration there.

Hands of Hope is just an example of a group I’ve been blessed to work with by using some of my design experience. I am beginning to work on some things for my local church and a ministry that they host in feeding the underprivileged in our community. These things are made more difficult with lacking equipment.

I would like to use the funds raised to purchase an up to date device and possibly some more recent design software. These expenses are just not readily available when you’ve got to try to extract them from the already strained family budget as I am not compensated by these groups for work done.
