Believe in Brynlee

Where do I even begin? Brynlee Ann was the most courageous three-year old girl, who fought and won more battles in her tiny life than most of us ever will. Brynlee was born July 23, 2012, and was diagnosed just after birth with Trisomy18. We were told she may not make it a day, a week or even a month. She had fight in her from the start and continued to proved doctors wrong when they said nothing more could be done. Brandy, her mother, and Matt, her father, fought even harder for them to always do more, to find another way. Brynlee was surviving her diagnosis, but there were more problems connected than not. In January 2013,  we journeyed to St. Louis for what became open heart surgery, Brynlee survived and was beating the odds once again. She wasn't giving up, and neither were any of her family or believers. Just as things are sailing smoothly, Brynlee is diagnosed with Wilm's tumor & must undergo surgery to remove her kidney. The surgery is a success and after harsh treatments, our little fighter once again came out on top, cancer FREE! There were complications after, and Brynlee had to have a trach put in, but that didn't stop her from fighting! How could we not believe in the courageous little girl? She's never given up, never held back, kept a smile on her face through every poke she was given. Brynlee suffered many hospital stays, more days in the hospital than not. Brandy never left her side, still believing Brynlee would overcome and continue to beat the odds. We all believed. On Thanksgiving eve, November 26, 2015, Brynlee's heart gave out. She fought harder and longer than we would have ever imagined and we still believe, we believe she is walking with Jesus, running on the streets of gold, playing, laughing, talking in her beautiful voice that we will be blessed to hear one day when we join her in Heaven. We miss her dearly and there won't be a day that goes by we won't think of her or shed a tear in her memory, but we will forever Believe in Brynlee.
