Our Fox Mill Elementary Odyssey of the Mind team has made it to the World Finals in Iowa ! We are  proud our team. This team has being together since kindergarten and this is the first time they  made it this far! Odyssey of the Mind is a world wide program that promotes creative problem solving and teamwork. This program engages students by challenging them to find innovative solutions to a variety of technical and performance problems. They have met every week for the past 7 months to work on their performance titled "Mockumentary Seriously?". They have also prepared themselves for spontaneous problems solutions in a wide range of cathegories from verbal to hands-on.

This young team is comprised of seven grade 5 students . They have been working hard every week since October.  Over the past 7 months they have gained self confidence and have developed life skills, including creativity, ingenuity, leadership, teamwork and communication.

Since they will be representing our State and the cost for transportación and accommodations are very high, we are  asking our community for donations to help our team to make it to the competition after all of their hard work.  Any size donation will help.

Your support and encouragement is very much appreciated! Our team is excited to present their solution on the world stage and is looking forward to participating in the festivities at the World Finals and to meeting other teams from around the world.
