Raising Money for Countess Mountbatten

Together with a group of friends we are walking 20 miles from Portsmouth Football Club to Southampton Football Club.

I have chosen to fund raise for a charity that is very close to our hearts. Our dear Pat was taken away very suddenly in March 2022. The care she received was exceptional and her last days were filled with laughter, joy and so much love.

Any money raised will help towards help and support being given by this wonderful organisation. Please donate whatever you can spare.

A little bit of background for you:

Mountbatten is the local hospice for Southampton and large parts of Hampshire, providing free care and support for people with life-limiting illness. Much of our work takes places in people's own homes, supporting over 1,600 people in any one day. Our services also include bereavement counselling , rehabilitation, support, advice, equipment provision and symptom management. As well as caring for patients in their own homes, we operate a 21-bed inpatient unit offering 24-hour specialist palliative care.
