Texas ATCS Equipment Fund
Donation protected
I am the ATCS Territory Custodian for the Union Pacific Sunset Route. I, along with my teammate Lloyd, have created a network of sites feeding ATCS servers across the state of Texas to provide coverage of UP's Sunset Route spreading from Los Angeles, CA to New Orleans, LA (along with associated lines that branch off from it). I also take care of the old T&P Toyah Sub running from Sweetwater, TX to the junction with the Sunset Route in Sierra Blanca, TX. Most of you will recognize me as being the "ATCS guy" at the biannual meet in Flatonia every spring and fall.
We currently have host sites in: Angleton, Houston, Rosenberg, Eagle Lake, Cameron, Hearne, Taylor, Temple, Hutto, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Ponder, Gordon, Big Spring, Midland, Uvalde, and El Paso (and looking for more hosts!).
This fund is established to help with the cost of radio equipment, antennas, cabling, pre-amps, as well as for any potential new servers that would be needed. We have full coverage in some areas, and are always looking for new sites to provide coverage to make track side railfanning easier.
