17,819km (UK perimeter) for Access Sport

UoN Table Tennis Club are on a fundraising mission - we have put a team together to run, cycle, swim, row and move in whatever ways we can to cover the distance equivalent to the perimeter of the UK (17,819km).  Our target is to complete this challenge by the beginning of the academic year at the University of Nottingham (21st September 2020) for the charity AccessSport. 

Access Sport harnesses the proven power of sport to transform young lives. Using sport as an anchor, they help disadvantaged and disabled young people to achieve their full potential by building and supporting thriving community sports clubs, led by inspirational volunteers, in the most disadvantaged urban areas. These clubs provide life-changing opportunities for local, vulnerable young people, whilst creating a lasting, locally-owned community resource.

Our table tennis club believes that sport should be accessible to all members of society and are proud to be able to support the work that Access Sport have been doing in the community.
