We are the University of Nottingham RecRun Society, and are thrilled to announce our biggest charity event to date for the Nottingham 10K on the 9th of March, in partnership with Base 51, a local Nottingham charity. Together, we’re raising funds to support Base 51’s vital programs which have helped support over 50,000 young people's lives in the community for the past 30 years.

To further increase our support, we’re also hosting a run in support of the event, with amazing prizes up for grabs! Every entry will support the charity, giving you a chance to win while helping us make a real difference

Base 51 provides essential services like mentoring, educational support, and youth outreach, and we’re aiming to help them continue their amazing work. With your generosity, we can make a real impact and improve the lives of many young people in Nottingham.

As little as £5 can cover games and art supplies to provide activities for young people, whereas £210 can cover 6 sessions of counselling, providing a young person with the well-needed support they deserve.
