This January, the University of Gloucestershire Netball Club is taking on a huge challenge to support an incredible local charity, The Pied Piper Appeal.

Across the first 12 days of January, our club will collectively run 150 miles — pushing ourselves physically and mentally — to raise money for children and young people who need it most. As students and athletes, we’re passionate about teamwork, resilience and supporting our community, and this challenge is our way of turning that passion into something meaningful.

The Pied Piper Appeal is a Gloucestershire-based children’s charity that works to improve the lives of sick and disabled children in our county. They fund life-saving and life-enhancing medical equipment, support services, and specialist facilities for children and young people receiving care in Gloucestershire hospitals and in the community. Their work helps make hospital stays less frightening, supports families during incredibly difficult times, and gives children the best possible chance to thrive.

Every mile we run represents our commitment to making a difference — but we can’t do it alone. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards supporting the vital work of the Pied Piper Appeal and helping improve care and outcomes for local children and families.
