UO Sailing Team Nationals Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello Ducks fans, family, and friends! We are the University of Oregon Sailing Team and we are raising money to help fund our trip to the Intercollegiate Sailing Association's Coed National Championships in Annapolis, MD! We are a tight-knit group of individuals, completely student-run, with a deep passion for sailing. We have been working incredibly hard all season for this amazing opportunity to compete with the best of the best. This is an exciting endeavor for our team, as we haven't been able to travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With your support and contributions, we will be able to take flight and attend Nationals for the first time since 2015. This is an honorable moment to be a Duck in a Boat!
Without further ado, meet the Ducks that make up our Coed team:
Tillie Morris; Skipper; Class of 2022--
Tillie grew up sailing in NY on Long Island Sound and Lake George. She has her Level 2 Instructor Certification and has spent many summers teaching sailing. Fun Fact: Tillie has an extensive fun-sock collection. Her favorite pair features canoeing squirrels (her whale socks are a close second).

Katy Priest; Crew; Class of 2022--
Katy started sailing in Southern California when she was 7 and recently got back into it when she joined the team her sophomore year. She sails Mercuries with her dad over the summer at Huntington Lake. Fun Fact: Katy frequents Disneyland and enjoys paying an arm and a leg for a churro each time she visits the park.

Ben Lewis; Skipper; Class of 2024--
Ben grew up sailing in Chicago alongside his dad when he was 9 and has been sailing and racing ever since. He sailed for his high school team and enjoys coaching over the summers as well. He is looking forward to racing against some of the top teams in the country. Fun Fact: Aside from sailing, Ben also participated in football and bowling when he was in high school.

Jack Kish; Crew; Class of 2023--
Jack is from originally from Colombus, Ohio, and joined the team this past fall. He has been sailing for 2 years and loves to sail and capsize his laser. Fun Fact: Jack grew up playing hockey in Ohio and loves to compete, so he can't wait to make some noise at Nationals.

Keevan Tallon; Alternate Crew; Class of 2021--
Keevan is our graduating senior from San Francisco, and he has been sailing competitively for 4 years, but has been in and around boats for a little longer than that. He enjoys partaking in the care and keeping of our boats and makes sure that we are set to sail each week. "I'm not a huge fan of olives, but olove this team." Fun Fact: Keevan would really like to see a moose someday.

Aidan Clark; Alternate Crew; Class of 2024--
Minnesotan by trade, Bean Resident in practice. Sailed as a child and welcomed the opportunity to sail in college. Comfortable with the concept of boats. Fun Fact: Avid fan of piglets and legal guardian of the team plant, Cabbatha (Cabby) The Ornamental Cabbage.

We appreciate any and all donations, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out by emailing: [email redacted]
Thank you, and as always, Go Ducks!
