Ecuador Earthquake Medical Relief

Hi, thank you for your interest in our campaign. My wife Jamie Tichauer and I, decided today to join a volunteer group of doctors and nurses, based out of Miami, to travel to Ecuador, in order to provide emergency medical relief to the people and families affected by the recent earthquake that hit the west coast region of the country. 

In every natural disaster there is a huge demand for humanitarian and emergency medical relief. In less developed countries those challanges multiply and every kind of help is much appreciated. 

Jamie is an emergency room pediatric registered nurse and is also finishing her nurse practioner masters degree. Although I am not in the medical field, I have been in many medical mission trips and will be assisting the medical team in supporting their work in non-medical related logistics tasks.

The funds would be used to cover some travel expenses as well as accquiring medical supplies extremely needed.

We will be traveling the coastal region of Manta from May 2nd till May 6th, 2016.
