Help with mobility

Hi, this in Cynthia or Cindy. Ass most know I worked hard all my life. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and more recently a degenerative spinal disease. I had surgery on my spine then my leg last year. I have gone fom being very physically active to being primarily wheelchair bound. I am trying desperately to keep as much independence as I can. I have an electric scooter, which broke down this month. I have a wheelchair lift that also broke down this month. The lift is fixed but I don't have the money to pay for it. I live with a young couple and 3 children under 12 in a mobile home that we have to build a new porch on before we can put a ramp on. The steps are so rickety I am scared to try to go up and down them by myself. Due to recent heatwave and electric bill over $400 a month none of us have the money for electric, wheelchair lift, safe porch. I have never asked for help before, I have always just worked more. If I get tired or hot my mind stops working and my right extremities is all that works now and those stop if I get to hot. I hate feeling sorry for myself but I am desperate any help is greatly appreciated.
