Support Serenity's Healing Journey

Serenity is my vibrant, bright, and beautiful 8-year-old niece. Unfortunately, Serenity was in an incident where she was hit by an F150 truck as she was walking to school on Tuesday morning.

Serenity is currently on a long journey of recovery at John Hopkins Children’s Hospital. She has a bruised brain, brain stem injury, bruised lungs, and a broken wrist and is currently in an unconscious state. She has shown improvement but has a long road ahead. We do not know when she’ll leave the PICU and move to rehabilitation and ultimately go home.

Serenity has a huge support system and team working to ensure she’s getting the best care and recovery process.

Her mother, my sister, will be traveling back and forth to the hospital using Uber due to her car breaking down as she was leaving the hospital. Her and Serenity’s dad will also be taking off work to be by her side for as long as she possibly can.
