Chief Melvin Betsellie, who is of the Dine Nation, an Elder, a Medicine Man, a Sun Dance Chief, and Water Pourer, crossed over this morning 4/4/2016
He was recently hospitalized due to seizure.
He was a teacher, friend, and family man to may. He has helped many people on the path with his medicine and teachings.
His family is asking for any support in the form of financial donations to help bring family out from California to be with them during this time as well as to help with various hospital cost, and burial costs.
If you can spare anything at all, $5 - $10 - $20 - $50... Even a $1. Anything will be greatly appreciated.

Melvin Betsellie had a seizure and went to that in between place. He has been in the hospital in the ICU since then. In the last few days he was moving around more , opening his eyes and trying to get up. He is a Sun Dance Chief, Pipe Carrier , Road Man, Father, Grandfather, Companion, Teacher and Friend to many.
He had some challenges with his health leading up to this and a few months before this Unexpected turn of events , he had prayed in the sweat lodge to Creator for a few more years on this Earth. He also asked people light a candle and pray for him.
Donations to provide for burial services, transportation and necessities for out of town relatives to come and be with the family are greatly needed and appreciated at this time. Money is also needed to help with household expenses as the family is taking on less work
responsibility to spend time with Melvin in the hospital, speak with Dr's, communicate to loved ones, grieve and pray.
