Dear Supporter,

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming expedition to Sumatra, Indonesia, where we will embark on a groundbreaking documentary project focusing on Cryptozoology. Led by esteemed explorers Dally Sandradiputra, Richard Freeman, and Christhope Killian, this venture promises to delve deep into the heart of Indonesia's rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.

We have been visiting the island for twenty one years accumulating evidence, here is some history behind our work:

Richard Freeman
THE British specialist in rare and mysterious animals. He has been traveling the world tracking down these creatures for over 30 years, and writing books and articles about his adventures. He knows the terrain perfectly.

Dally Sandradiputra
Native of Sumatra, he has been documenting and investigating Orang Pendek for several years. he has around him the best team of guides and local trackers. Dally also had written book about Orang Pendek.

Christophe Kilian
French director, passionate about cryptozoology, he has already made a first film for television, with this same team 10 years ago.

We will also be joined by a dear friend, Mohammed Bhula.

Why Sumatra? Why Cryptozoology?
The answer lies in the untold stories hidden within its dense rainforests and mist-covered mountains. Indonesia boasts an unparalleled diversity of flora and fauna, with many species yet to be discovered or properly documented. Moreover, the land is steeped in folklore and ancient traditions, where tales of mythical creatures intertwine with everyday life. Our expedition seeks to shine a light on these enigmatic beings, bridging the gap between myth and reality. For example, on our last expedition we filmed an endangered Sumatran tiger in an area where they were not supposed to be.

Sumatra is a treasure trove of biodiversity and a threatened environment whose natural beauty must be highlighted and defended. It boasts the largest national park in Indonesia, the 1.4 million km² Kerinci Sablat. It is probable that within this park lie evidence of an undiscovered primate nicknamed Orang Pendek, "the little man," whose footprints have been studied, notably in Cambridge, UK. This primate is the subject of our documentary.

What is cryptozoology?
It's zoology practiced by volunteers who search for "hidden" species: animals that are unknown, undiscovered, or considered extinct. This term is not officially recognized, and it remains a subject largely pursued by amateurs. It's up to us to take on this task, to venture into the field, and to contribute to science!

But this journey is more than just a quest for the unknown. It's a crucial step towards conservation and preservation. Sumatra's rainforests face relentless threats from illegal logging and habitat destruction. By showcasing the wonders of its natural world, we aim to raise awareness and rally support for its protection. Through education and advocacy, we can work together to safeguard these invaluable ecosystems for generations to come.

However, embarking on such a venture requires resources beyond our current means. That's why we are reaching out to you, our community, for support. Your contributions will fund essential equipment, logistics, and production costs necessary to bring this documentary to life. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in our mission to uncover the mysteries of Sumatran Cryptozoology and preserve its fragile habitats.

Why crowdfunding?
We need to venture further afield and extend our stay at our location to gather clues regarding the existence of orang pendek, such as footprints, hairs, leftover meals, scat, and anything else we can utilize for genetic analysis.

Each member of the team is familiar with the terrain, and there are certain areas we need to explore. However, due to lack of time and resources, we have been unable to do so until now. We must remain in the forest for as long as our research demands, whereas previously, we had to limit the duration and scope of our investigations. We aim to test new recording and detection technology, though the acquisition of this equipment comes with a cost.

We aspire to maximize both the potential of this investigation and our own abilities. Our journey will leave an indelible mark on the forest and on our spirits. It is a genuine adventure in a timeless place teeming with tigers and stunning wildlife, flora, and fauna, an experience we can all share together.

Our goal is to capture Sumatra in a way it has never been seen before. We will immerse ourselves in the heart of the forest and document our adventures and discoveries comprehensively. Through a documentary format, we plan to present our findings, with a premium version featuring astounding footage. This project marks the beginning of a series of films and investigations into this mysterious natural world, and crowdfunding is essential to initiate this endeavour.

Join us on this extraordinary journey as we explore the wonders of Sumatra and embark on a quest to protect its natural treasures. Together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
