"The Red River Divide" women's healthcare documentary fund
Donation protected
We are two Emmy Award-winning filmmakers who are raising seed money for our next project, which is about the one lone women's reproductive healthcare clinic for many hundreds of square miles. Located in Moorhead, Minnesota, the clinic was forced to move out of Fargo, North Dakota, in the wake of the Dobbs decision, and the clinic now serves patients from across the upper Midwest—including North Dakota but as far away as Texas and other parts of the United States.
We are seeking startup funds to commence filming. Our end goal is to make an on-the-ground documentary about people who oppose the clinic, people who support it, as well as people who work there. However you may feel about the issue post-Dobbs, your views will be represented. We are not seeking to make a polemic but rather a true-to-life story of how one part of America now looks in the wake of the 2022 Supreme Court decision.
Emmy-winner director Dave Kuznicki, based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and producer Eric Althoff grew up together in New Jersey. They have multiple Emmys and Telly awards. This funding will help us get the project off the ground on our way to yet more awards and festival appearances. Please join us and Media 523!
