My name is Michael Loccisano Jr. and I am a filmmaker from Long Island, New York. I am currently studying film at Syracuse University, but I’m attending this semester virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am working on the major film of my junior year and I am reaching out for some help. Due to being home and away from campus, I don't have the typical access to equipment I would normally have at school, and that alone comes huge costs which I, unfortunately, don't have the ability to rent on my own. This also doesn't take into account money for location, props, costumes, makeup, set, etc. Attending film school online has been challenging and I have been in a creative funk for the majority of quarantine. I finally fell in love with the concept of this sci-fi film.

The story is about Dr. Demetri and their assistant, Amari. They discover that the alien they have been studying has a substance in its blood that mimics the effects of a hallucinogenic. Questions arise as Amari struggles with the ethical repercussions of reaping the benefits of the newly found drug.

The film touches on themes of morality and ethics and whether or not it is morally correct to risk another living being's life for your own gain. This story is very relevant to the time we are living in and I am so incredibly excited to tell it, but I can't do it without you.
