As most everyone is aware at this point my little sister Chelsea passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2020. Chelsea was only 30 years old, a mother of 2, a wife, daughter, and sister. The phone call we received from our mother was one that although we had prepared for, could never truly be ready for, and all of our hearts are forever changed.
Chelsea was an amazing woman, riddled with scars and pain that most of us couldn’t imagine. Despite everything that woman had gone through in her life she never lost her sense of compassion, she never stopped trying to make you laugh, and she would have and literally did give the shirt off her back, or her only coat to anyone that needed it despite not having much for herself.
Chelsea was a protector, a defender, and an amazing mother. She was one of a kind, and a light in the dark for many even when the darkness was consuming her. My sister cannot be replaced, and for all that knew her we are left here with a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
She tried very hard to escape the demons that plagued her and she fought a long and hard battle, unfortunately in the end given all her suffering and the long road ahead I truly believe that God finally said enough and took her home. Her time on this earth was incredibly hard, and although she loved all those she cared for deeply, she couldn't escape the demons. In my grief along with many others my only relief is knowing that my sister is finally free, that the pain that had been tearing her apart all these years has finally ceased, and that she is in a place now where she can see her babies whenever she wants, a place where she will never miss a moment, and can always shroud them in her love.
I have set up this page to assist in her final expenses and lay her to rest as she so very much deserves. Given the Covid-19 situation currently her celebration of life may be pushed back until this is over.
Any remaining funds will be set aside in 2 separate accounts for Hunter and Haven which is something I believe more than anything my sister would have wanted. Her children were her entire world and I know she wanted nothing more than to have them back.
On behalf of my mother, and brother, as well as the children and Mike thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for being a friend to my sister, thank you for trying so hard to steer her in the right direction, and thank you for the prayers said in silence throughout these years. This is the final act of love and kindness we can offer her and I know a lot of you have expressed the yearning to do so.
Again, from the bottom of my heart Thank you, and if we have failed to say this in all of the messages we’ve received I am so very sorry for your loss as well. I know that she touched many lives in many different ways, and I know her absence will be felt and resonate with all of us.
If you need to talk about her. If you need someone to cry with. If you need to share a memory. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. It is through these moments that she will feel most alive, and through these memories that she won’t be forgotten.
Our prayers go out to all who knew her.
We are all in pain.
