Help Isaiah Win His 3rd Battle For Life
Donation protected

Isaiah Burridge, a 27 year old Sunday school teacher, praise and worship leader, two time transplant recipient, MidAmerica Transplant speaker and husband to wife Megan and son to Carlene and Michael and sister, Lauren has had quite the challenging and obstacle laden life to say in the least.
Isaiah, who was born with a congenital heart defect, wasn't expected to live very long past birth, much less a healthy life if he "somehow" was able beat the odds past birth, but God, Carlene, Michael, Lauren and Isaiah all had something very different to say about the matter.
He was able to receive a new heart at only 6 weeks old and the doctors stated that this was an incredibly perfect match, and sheesh were they ever right.
Isaiah didn't have what you and I would deem a very "normal" childhood compared to most in that he was forced to school from home with a private teacher and was rarely able to visit friends or have them over due to his highly suppressed immune system.
The average cold could turn into pneumonia or worse for him and sun exposure could and would easily turn into serious skin cancers, which he battled for many years, so Isaiah took up music as his main passion and would even lead him to perform his music on stage at several medical galas for transplant recipients.
Unfortunately, due to the immunosuppression medications to prevent his body from rejecting his heart, led to failing kidneys and his next big fight for quality of life again. His sister, Lauren, was on standby as a donor, but at what seemed to be the last minute he received a kidney at only 16 years old.
Isaiah took his guitar and musical abilities to his church and eventually became a regular praise and worship singer/musician at his local church and even led and guest performed at some others as his passion for music was deeply rooted in his faith and passion for teaching others how to live a faith filled life.
He later met, fell in love with and married his wonderful wife, Megan, who would become one of his biggest support systems throughout his continued journey of battling health scares and obstacles, right up to the latest and most daunting challenge he's ever faced... Cancer.
Isaiah was brought in for what was thought to be most likely appendicitis, but unfortunately turned out to be a variation of lymphoma that's commonplace for transplant recipients due to the suppressed immune system.
While, it's been a time that he's focused on staying positive and fighting this and winning, it's not been an easy obstacle to face in the slightest for him nor his family.
After all of these years of working for his parents' small business and being able to contribute to the household bills and ever increasing medical bills, as of this year now facing cancer, he's finally been given no choice but to go on full disability due to all of his medical conditions and requirements.
Isaiah and his family have been avid givers to those in need, helpers of the needy in and out of their church and even opening up their homes multiple times to those in need and now they're the ones in need this time even though, they're not the type to ask for it.
His sister, Lauren, is moving back from out of state in order to be a possible bone marrow donor and the rest of the family is working on moving closer in order to help take care of anything he and Megan need, but with the ever growing medical bills, his recent loss of regular income, he and the family have both suffered major financial setbacks in order to keep him healthy and alive.
We're trying to raise $100,000 in order to at least cover a portion of his upcoming medical bills and help his family get moved closer in order to help him throughout this journey. Any support or help you can give goes such a long way to help them win this (hopefully last) medical battle!
