Hi, my name is Sarah and I am raising money to give my dad (Derek Sean Lynn-Kosakoski), a proper funeral for all his loved ones to say goodbye. Unfortunately, on Saturday July 31, 2021 I lost my dad unexpectedly at 49 years old. He was very loved by many and is survived by his 3 children including myself and 2 grandchildren. He was taken way too soon and unfortunately we were not prepared. Our hearts are shattered and broken to a million pieces wondering why now? Why so soon?

A lot of people knew him as a loving person, a jokester, a caretaker, a brother, a friend, a lover, and soooo much more. He was more to me then that, he was my dad. His smile would light up a room, his laughter was contagious and his spirit was like no other. He was the type of person who would not only give his shirt off his back to you, but he would give you everything off of him in order to help you. All he wanted to do was spread love every where he went whether it was in church, with his friends, his family, or even at McDonalds. He had this powerful way to make people smile even when they were down. My dad wasn't the kind of person to take offense to someone else's bad day, but he sure would make sure to tell you to have a blessed day or beautiful day in hopes of changing your day around. That was the hippie in him, which is why the nickname suited him so perfectly. I don't think there will be another person like him, that's why this hurts so much. No matter what daddy-o, I will always be your little girl.<3

All proceeds are going directly to funeral costs, cremation, and anything left over will go towards his headstone where he will be buried. I completely and totally understand how tough times are, especially with being a single mother myself. Please know any and every donation no matter how big or how small will be truly and gratefully appreciated with our whole hearts.
