Hi ! My name is Mary Ann Windsor . Rory and I have been friends since the 7th grade .

She has always had a big heart for those that are struggling with life’s challenges ; the homeless , addicts or people with mental illness .

she does riverbed outreach and regularly under the bridge helping the homeless.

I would call her a bleeding heart liberal or Joyce Meyers because she is always doing for others who may not know how to do for themselves.

This winter she headed up the warming center for the homeless in her area ( Paso Robles San Luis Obispo County) and this Monday the unthinkable happened . She got stuck by a drug needle while cleaning up the warming center .

she went to the emergency room as a precaution. She is now having to take two medications for the next 28 days as a precaution in case the drug user is HIV positive. This will make sure she doesn’t contract HIV if they were . Unfortunately Rory got laid off at the end of the year and isn’t working yet. When she got laid off her boss failed to pay their insurance premiums and she couldn’t get COBRA , and as a result she doesn’t have health insurance right now .

between the medication, the emergency room , and follow up visits her costs are expected to be around $7500.00. They prescribed her two medications one alone is $2100.00 .

Rory is always helping others and the only time she is asking for anything is to help the homeless. But right now I think she’s the one that needs the help . Will you help me help her cover these costs ??
