My name is Katharina, and I am a passionate and dedicated educator in Germany. For the past few years, I have worked with children, and it brings me joy and gratitude every time I see how they develop and discover the world around them.

Next year, I want to take the opportunity to further my passion and skills by pursuing a higher education. I have chosen the renowned Norland College in England, which offers a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education & Care and has a long-standing tradition.

As part of my studies at Norland, I will also have the opportunity to gain extensive practical experience. Norland College places great emphasis on practical experience and offers students numerous opportunities to work in kindergartens, preschools, and other facilities to apply what they have learned in theory and intensive practical instruction.

I am confident that these experiences will not only help me improve my skills as an educator but also expand my career opportunities. This is a unique opportunity for me to enhance my abilities and gain new perspectives. The international experience that I will gain in England is especially important to me. I believe that learning about other cultures and ways of working is an essential enrichment that will help me grow as an educator and as a person.

However, studying at Norland College comes with a high price tag. Since Brexit, foreigners can no longer pay the English tuition fees. Unfortunately, I cannot apply for the German Federal Law Promotion of Education or Training (Auslandsbafög) as well because the course of study lasts longer than one year.

Norland offers a scholarship that covers approximately half of the tuition fees, and I will apply for it as soon as I register.

However, with around 20,000 GBP (22,607€) per year, the college is very expensive. Nevertheless, I can gain incredible enriching experiences, including the vast practical training at Norland.

Due to the high costs, I am in need of financial support to realize my dream. Therefore, I am reaching out to you for assistance so that I can take advantage of this opportunity.

To apply for the student visa, I must demonstrate that I have the funds to pay for the first year of tuition, the financial means to pay for rent and food for a full year, and the money for health insurance during the three years. In total, I will need about 40,000€ at the beginning of the course.

Here is a breakdown of the costs:

Tuition fees for one year: approximately 22,000€ (a total of 66,000€ for all three years)

Rent and food: approximately 1,300€/month. Approximately 15,600€/year

Health insurance for three years: approximately 1,700€

To achieve my dream of studying at Norland College, I am asking for your help. I am grateful for any support you can provide to help me achieve my dream.
