Hallo, mein Name ist Katrin und ich sammle Spenden für AMICAB (Amigos de los Caballos), einen Pferde- und Tierschutzhof auf Fuerteventura. Dieser Verein wurde bereits 2009 von Imke Hommelsheim gegründet und ist ein wahres Herzensprojekt. Aktuell leben hier 17 Pferde, 4 Ponys, 8 Hunde, unzählige Enten und Hühner.
Vor allem für die Pferde ist die Finca von AMICAB ein wunderbarer Ort, wo sie endlich in Ruhe und Frieden Zuhause sein dürfen. Vom unbrauchbaren Militärpferd, aussortiertem Filmpferd, schwer erziehbaren Jungpferd oder die verschiedensten Rentner aus dem Renn-, Spring- oder Freizeitbereich dürfen hier gemeinsam in einer Herde leben und heilen und sie werden ganz liebevoll von Imke und ein paar helfenden Händen versorgt.
Finanziell wird es allerdings gerade sehr eng, da die Kosten vor allem für das Futter extrem gestiegen sind.
Nur für Heu und Stroh braucht es derzeit schon 3000€/Monat.
Hinzu kommt Zusatzfutter wie Müsli für einige Rentner, Tierarztkosten, Material für Reparaturarbeiten, Hufbearbeitung, …
… ohne einen finanziellen Puffer oder Investoren ist das bei den steigenden Ausgaben auf Dauer leider nicht mehr tragbar.
Für die Tiere ist dieser Ort allerdings sehr wertvoll und wichtig.
Deshalb wünschen wir uns Paten für die Pferde und Menschen die Tierlieb sind und gerne solch ein Herzensprojekt finanziell unterstützen möchten.

Hello, my name is Katrin and I am collecting donations for AMICAB (Amigos de los Caballos), a horse and animal welfare farm on Fuerteventura. This association was founded in 2009 by Imke Hommelsheim and is a true project of the heart. Currently, 17 horses, 4 ponies, 8 dogs, countless ducks and chickens live here.
Especially for the horses, AMICAB's finca is a wonderful place where they can finally be at home in peace and quiet. From unusable military horses, discarded film horses, young horses that are difficult to train or the most diverse pensioners from the racing, jumping or leisure sector are allowed to live and heal here together in a herd and they are lovingly cared for by Imke and a few helping hands.
Financially, however, things are very tight at the moment, as the costs, especially for feed, have risen dramatically.
Just for hay and straw we need 3000€/month.
In addition, there is extra food such as muesli for some pensioners, veterinary costs, material for repair work, hoof treatment. Without a financial buffer or investors, this is unfortunately no longer sustainable in the long run given the rising expenses.
For the animals, however, this place is very valuable and important.
That is why we are looking for sponsors for the horses and people who love animals and would like to support such a heartfelt project financially.

Hola, mi nombre es Katrin y estoy recogiendo donaciones para AMICAB (Amigos de los Caballos), una granja de caballos y bienestar animal en Fuerteventura. Esta asociación fue fundada en 2009 por Imke Hommelsheim y es un verdadero proyecto de corazón. Actualmente viven aquí 17 caballos, 4 ponis, 8 perros, innumerables patos y gallinas.
Especialmente para los caballos, la finca de AMICAB es un lugar maravilloso donde por fin pueden estar en casa en paz y tranquilidad. Desde caballos militares inservibles, caballos de cine desechados, caballos jóvenes difíciles de entrenar o los más diversos jubilados del sector de las carreras, los saltos o el ocio pueden vivir y curarse aquí juntos en una manada y son cuidados con cariño por Imke y unas cuantas manos amigas.
Sin embargo, desde el punto de vista económico, las cosas están muy apretadas en estos momentos, ya que los costes, especialmente los de alimentación, han aumentado drásticamente.
Sólo para heno y paja necesitamos 3.000 euros al mes.
A eso hay que añadir piensos adicionales, como muesli para algunos pensionistas, gastos veterinarios, material para reparaciones y tratamiento de pezuñas. Sin un colchón financiero o inversores, esto desgraciadamente ya no es sostenible a largo plazo dado el aumento de los gastos.
Para los animales, sin embargo, este lugar es muy valioso e importante.
Por eso buscamos patrocinadores para los caballos y personas que amen a los animales y quieran apoyar económicamente un proyecto tan sentido.
