Ich heiße Eloy Medina, komme aus Venezuela und studiere derzeit Violoncello an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.

Seit ich 11 Jahre alt bin, spiele ich mit einem Bogen, den mir meine Familie geschenkt hat. Er hat mich durch viele Jahre Ausbildung begleitet – bis heute. Doch inzwischen reicht er für die professionellen Anforderungen meines Studiums und meiner musikalischen Laufbahn nicht mehr aus.

Ein passender, hochwertiger Bogen kostet ca. 7.000 €. Da ich mein Studium und meinen Lebensunterhalt in Deutschland selbstständig durch freiberufliche Arbeit finanziere, kann ich mir diese Investition momentan nicht leisten.

Ich bin für jede Unterstützung – sei es finanziell oder durch das Teilen dieser Aktion – sehr dankbar. Jeder Beitrag hilft mir, meiner beruflichen Zukunft als Musiker einen entscheidenden Schritt näherzukommen.

My name is Eloy Medina. I’m a cellist from Venezuela, currently studying at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg.

Since I was 11 years old, I’ve been playing with a bow gifted to me by my family. It has accompanied me through years of studies – until now. But today, it no longer meets the demands of my professional development as a musician.

A high-quality bow suitable for my current level costs around €7,000. As I finance my studies and living expenses in Germany through freelance work as a musician and cello teacher, I cannot afford this investment on my own.

Me llamo Eloy Medina, soy violonchelista venezolano y actualmente estudio en la Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Hamburgo, Alemania.

Desde los 11 años toco con un arco que me regaló mi familia. Me ha acompañado durante toda mi formación hasta hoy. Sin embargo, ya no cumple con los requisitos técnicos y sonoros que necesito en esta etapa profesional de mi carrera.

Un arco profesional de calidad cuesta aproximadamente 7.000 €. Como financio mis estudios y mi vida en Alemania trabajando como músico y profesor freelance, no puedo asumir este gasto por mi cuenta.
