Unterstützt uns bei Frisos Therapie

Vielen Dank an alle lieben Menschen die ihren Weg hier auf unsere Go Fund Me Seite gemacht haben. 

Niemals hätten wir mit soviel positiven Ansturm und Hilfe gerechnet. 

Ich bin dankbar, dass viele Menschen erkennen, was hier das Problem ist und wir traurig es uns als Familie macht, keine Unterstützung bei der eigenen Krankenkasse zu finden für das kranke eigene Kind. 

Friso ist gesund und prächtig auf die Welt gekommen, er war ein Profi wenn es um das Stillen ging, doch Schnuller oder Flasche war ihm nicht geheuer, auch von dem Start in die Beikost mit 6 Monaten wollte Friso nichts wissen. 

Haben wir doch anfangs gelacht und unsere Späße gemacht, “der Junge weiß eben was gut für ihn ist” … wurde uns, als Friso dann ca 10 Monate alt war, langsam klar, dass hier vielleicht doch was nicht stimmt. 

Im August 2022 haben wir eine wöchentliche Logopädische Therapie begonnen. Die Logopädin war ganz positiver Dinge und war sich sicher, das Problem lösen wir in ein part Wochen. Ein Jahr später, unzählige Stunden, versuche, Tränen und sorgen später isst Friso noch immer nicht. Für eine Mutter zu sehen wie das Kind schreit und weint wenn man es füttern möchte, löst eine Angst aus, die mit nichts zu vergleichen ist. Eine Angst, dass Kind würde irgendwann verhungern oder ein Leben lang nicht essen wollen, schlimm. 

Auch die Logopädin war am Ende ihrer Ideen und konnte uns nicht mehr weiter helfen. 

Nun kam die letzte Chance, eine Spezial Klinik in Essen, welche sich genau mit

Kinder wie Friso beschäftigt und das seit 20 Jahren. Wir haben uns beworben und nach 6 Monaten Wartezeit einen Platz zur Therapie bekommen. 

Ich hatte große Angst vor dieser Woche, wusste ich, dass das unsere letzte Chance ist. 

Gott sei dank konnten wir positive Entwicklungen verbuchen und sind nun auf einer neuen Reise mit Friso. 

Leider müssen wir zu all dem Leid der letzten Monate nun auch noch die Kosten für diese Therapie selber tragen. Unverständlich, dass

Eine Krankenkasse ( BKK Mobil Oil ) nicht 10.000 Euro aufbringen kann für ein kleinen Jungen der noch sein ganzen Leben vor sich hat…. Ist die Summe, vergleichbar was man an Beiträgen sein Leben lang leistet wohl nur ein Tropfen auf dem heißen Stein. 

Hi, my Name is Mandy and I started this go fund me for my Son Friso and this is our Story. 

Friso was born big and healthy in November 2021. He was really in to breastfeeding and got big and strong. 

By the time he was 7 month old we started to try to feed him other things like baby purée. 

He had no interest in other things then his milk. In the beginning we made fun about the fact he would only accept the breastfeeding - like he knew what’s good for him …. But month and month and tries after tries went by and Friso still would not eat anything. He doesn’t wanted food near his mouth, it mad whim gagging and throwing up. When Friso was 10 month old we started a eating therapy once a week, with no success at all. 

So I kept breastfeed him. 

When he was about 16 Month old I got some puréed food into him, with distraction, with crying and still gagging and throwing up! My heart was broken and every meal was hell for everyone involved. Back to breastfeeding! 

But I was done, mentally and my body was done as well. Frisos body was done as well, by the time now he had massive problems in his blood work because of to less nutritions. 

We found this special clinic, wich only is working with kids like Friso! We applied and after a six month waiting period finally got a spot! 

The Therapie was 7 days long. All day, 2 therapists and lots and los of food and trying and crying. I was ready to quit, I couldn’t watch my child suffer, but be day 4 we started to make progress and still do very day!! 

The nightmare might be over and we are heading in the right direction! 

Light at the end of the tunnel !!! 

But after all, we got the information that our insurance won’t cover this treatment. 

We had no choice other then try it anyway! 

I can’t believe the healthcare won’t help a almost two year old little boy to learn how to eat, since eating is kinda important to be healthy!
