Unterreo Edwards Burial Expenses

Donation protected
I am Unterreo's husband and, recently, his widower. We were together for 13 years and were married for 7 of those years. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with COPD last week from a fungal infection he got, possibly, while working on a Cruise Ship as a Professional Ballet/Jazz Dancer. He was diagnosed with stage 2 COPD in Nov 2011, so he lived with this nasty disease for almost 11 years. We even raised money for a stem cell treatment that cost us $10k back in 2017, which didn't help.

Unterreo graduated from Tri Cities High School in East Point, Ga, in 2002, with an Arts School Diploma, where he learned to Dance and also played the Violin. Unterreo then studied at Julliard in New York until the little scholarship money ran out. He then was able to get to The University of the Arts, where he met other dancers that would eventually lead him to a paying job. One of his dancer friends helped Unterreo get a job at Alvin Ailey II for a couple of seasons, which started his career. This was 2003. After his Alvin Ailey work, he moved to Branson, MO and worked a season for The Christmas Spectacular; then, he made it to work on Cruise Ships for several seasons. He was also on the original Dance Fever TV Show, which is the video linked to this fundraiser.

Unterreo lived a full life as a Professional Ballet/Jazz Dancer when he worked on Cruise Ships. He worked travelling worldwide: China, Australia, Alaska, Canada, London, many Caribbean countries, and the US. He met and worked with dozens of dancers and singers while on the cruise ships and previous dance companies. These folks became his friends and family that he cherished forever. Unfortunately, he was only able to Professionally Dance for about six years. His injury from the fungal infection in his lung deteriorated his left lung, and eventually, his right lung would also get infected. He passed away last week and earned his Wings to Dance in Heaven. We are all devastated at the loss of our: Husband, Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Friend. He was only 37, born on July 14, 1984.

With the help of his and my family, I have been able to pay for his Visitation and his Memorial Service. I have exhausted this help. I am asking for help with Unterreo's Burial Expense, which is already picked out in a lovely memorial garden in Ellenwood, Ga, where his grandmother is buried. I picked the space out personally the Wednesday before he passed. The cemetery's rule is to pay in full to bury. Any amount of money or even promoting the fundraiser will help us get him buried with a graveside service or party for him also.
