After years of struggling with addiction, I found strength, purpose, and hope through running. What started as a way to put one foot in front of the other became a path to recovery, resilience, and eventually running marathons.

Today, I run to prove what’s possible — not just for myself, but for anyone facing hardship. Simon Community NI helps people experiencing homelessness take their own first steps toward safety, stability, and a brighter future. Their work changes lives, just as recovery has changed mine.
