The smallest actions can make a world of difference. Here at Unsinkable, we truly mean that. Our passion lies in creating mental health and wellness support for youth and adults across the world.
Please read below to learn more about WHO we are and WHERE your donation will be going.
Who we are:
Unsinkable is a non-profit organization founded by 4-time Olympian Silken Laumann. We educate, empower, and connect people when they need it most. We believe in the power of storytelling. Through sharing our lived experiences we are able to build trust, open perspectives, cultivate norms, share knowledge, facilitate unlearning/break stigmas and build emotional connections. We all have our own voice and Unsinkable encourages you, to use yours. Together we are UNSINKABLE.
Where is my money going?
It is important to us that you know exactly where your donation will be going. Through your support, we are able to fund our mission. Unsinkable tackles a hands-on approach with its Community Support Programs. Delivering community events, after-school programs, support groups, and resources to youth and adults across North America. This funding allows for us to grow these programs and reach more communities, leaving a lasting impact on their mental health and wellness.
We are in a mental health crisis and we need your help. As simple as buying a morning coffee, your support can make a difference.

Below is a quote from our Community Champion, Tyler Smith, Humboldt Broncos bus crash survivor and mental health advocate:
"I never really know what that meant until the Unsinkable team approached me about writing my story. I didn’t know what to expect, but right from the start they made me feel so welcome and comfortable. They didn’t just want my story — they wanted a relationship and connection as well. That gave me the reassurance that I was absolutely making the right choice in connecting with the Unsinkable team to share my story. I can’t wait to see where they go in future because the way they offer hope and inspiration to people all across the world is truly remarkable. Thank you to the Unsinkable team for everything they’ve done for me and everything they continue to do for me. "
