Help me fund my Unsettling Truths Book Tour 2022

Yá'át'ééh my relatives. My name is Mark Charles, and I am a co-author of the book "Unsettling Truths - The Ongoing, Dehumanizing Legacy of the Doctrine of Discovery" published by InterVarsity Press in November of 2019. I am excited to share that our book has generated a tremendous response, shifted paradigms, and started some fantastic conversations over the past two years. It has also won several awards:

However, I believe there are still more people that this book can reach. Because Unsettling Truths was released in the middle of my 2020 Independent campaign for President, and because of the Global COVID Pandemic that began just a few months later, we could not have a proper book tour and national promotion. So I have decided to implement my own book tour through the spring, summer and fall of 2022. And I would like to ask for your partnership.

 

My 2022 Book Tour began on May 3 with an event in NYC at Hope Hell's Kitchen (see updates on May 4 and 26). And the next segment of my tour begins on Tuesday, July 19, when I depart on a cross-country road trip. Through the beginning of August, I have nine confirmed events in the following locations:

My road trip will continue throughout August, and I am planning additional events in New Mexico, Arizona and California.

 

Because I initiated this book tour myself, I am not being paid an honorarium for the events, and I will be covering the travel expenses for this tour out of my pocket. That is where I would like to ask for your partnership. I have set up this GoFundMe so people who know me, have read the book and believe in its message can have a practical way to help me promote it. The money raised will go first and foremost to cover my travel and other expenses associated with this book tour. And if funds are available, I will also use them to pay myself a modest honarinum per event.
