Unraveled: A Teenage Suicide Short Film and PSA

Hi everyone! My name is Navid (stage name Chris River), and I’m a 16 year old actor and writer (for 8 years now!) with a passion for storytelling. Over the past month, I’ve been working on a short film script called Unraveled, which takes us on a journey of two brothers dealing with loss and mental health issues. I wrote Unraveled to reveal struggles that many people face but more often then not, refuse to share. My goal with this project is to inspire those who suffer silently, to open up to anyone they feel comfortable with.

Unraveled tells the story of Daniel and Elijah, two brothers who are trying to cope in their own ways after loosing both parents in a car accident. The film portrays how a single moment, a single hug, a single "You're not alone" can save someone's life. By creating this piece I want others to apply it to real life, you never know what someone else is going through. Be the friend they might feel they don't have.

Logline

Short Synopsis:
