Unplug AI (UPAI) is a UK-based grassroots campaign group that is calling for regulation and a total moratorium on AI, to protect humans, whoever and wherever they are.

Right now, we are living in the Wild West. AI is increasing at an astounding rate and the government is unwilling or unable to keep up with regulation as it is advancing this quickly. We believe that the only sensible course of action is to implement a total moratorium on AI, whilst we research its effects.

In order to prevent the existential threat that AI poses to human life, we need your help. Unplug AI UK is a grassroots organisation. We are fighting against Big Tech in a David vs Goliath matchup. We don't have any big backers, we are funded entirely by those we are working to protect, ordinary humans like yourselves.
