unplanned medical problems

My name is Jamie.Over a year ago my dad had to go in for unexpected back surgery.  He was dx with L2-3, 3-4 spondylolisthesis with central spinal stenosis and bilateral neural foraminal stenosis l2-3,3-4,4-5,5-s1 low back pain with bilateral lower extremity neurogenic claudication.  However, after this surgery the recovery process was much harder then expected.  My dad has been off of work for months and very sadly has been forced into filling for disability and resigning from his long time loved job.  My dad has not been able to do yard work or even take a ride on his bike this summer due to extreme pain.  He has had epidural injections to help his back pain , unfortunately, his doctor is recommending another back surgery to help manage his pain.
