I'm not going to try and make you feel sorry for me. I know I'm incredibly lucky to be in this world.

I'm asking you to help me make the world a better place. At least in the only way I know how.

A Bit About Me

I spent the ages of 12 to 42 struggling with an inner voice that told me to end it all. To leave this world and to not be a bother any longer.

In January of 2023, the last time I almost did it, I was lucky enough to get help. I ended up doing roughly 400 hours of therapy in 10 weeks.

In March of '23 I remember waking up with a new thought, "I'm glad my eyes opened today."

So what am I asking for?

The Ask

Well, once, I got through those 10 weeks, writing spilled out. The first of which was a screenplay. A screenplay that was so poorly written that a working screenwriter told me, “this is literally the worst screenplay I’ve ever read. You’ll never get accepted to a screenplay competition.”

That screenplay, Reunion, has now placed in over 30 competitions. The other three, Love, 9/11, & BLM have each placed in roughly a dozen each.

14 more sit in my head.

Now, I’m figuring out what’s next, and I have a Short Film that I want to make call, Unplaced.

It aligns a lot with some of the tools I used in my own therapy journey, outlined here in my book, Healing (available for purchase here).
