On October 14, 2023, Jordan Garcia will celebrate his 7th Birthday. Sadly, he won’t be celebrating like most kids his age. Instead, he will be undergoing chemotherapy treatments, bone marrow testing, lumbar punctures, and enduring countless side effects that come with this diagnosis.
Jordan started 1st grade at Portola Elementary in Ventura, CA on August 23, 2023 when he came down with a cold less than three weeks later. The unexpected and devastating news of a Leukemia diagnosis has shaken his family and friends tremendously.
Just 2 short years ago, painstakingly, Jordan’s dad passed away. Jordan’s mom, Alexis, still grieves as a widow while working hard as a single mom to support her two children.
Alexis is now providing transportation to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for Jordan’s treatments, caring for his physical needs, and doing everything in her power to help her son battle this disease while working her job, as she was denied financial assistance.
How can this be possible? Healthy, active, fun, kindhearted, and eager-to-please Jordan has such a bright and spunky spirit! Jordan is “all in” for this challenge and is already fighting.
Let’s give him and his mom all the support we can! As a community, can we stand behind this little boy and provide anything possible to show our love for Jordan and his family? Let’s all take part in helping Jordan Fight Leukemia!!
Every donation will help his mother put food on the table, pay medical expenses, and support Jordan with anything he may need. Thank you in advance for any donation you can offer. Please share Jordan’s story to help spread the word.
Happy 7th Birthday to you, Jordan! You’ve got this… We’ve got you!
