Hello, we are Interactive Impact (or Lia and Cal) and we are fundraising for our final year Esports Management degree event: UNMUTED: Celebrating Women in Gaming.

This event is a celebration of the achievements of women and advancements toward the ending of gender discrimination in the gaming and esports industry. There will be representatives from charities and organisations dedicated to this cause to provide insight on how the industry is changing and what can be done to help, as well as guest speakers who have experience in the industry and the struggles women face within it. There will also be facilitated networking through painting and crafting.

We want to provide an event where women and allies can express themselves, feel supported by others, and learn more about what women face in the industry and what is being done to make the space more inclusive.

At the event, we are raising funds for Weston Park Cancer Charity, a local Sheffield charity dedicated to supporting cancer research and providing emotional and practical support for people living with and beyond cancer.

All funds raised via this GoFundMe will be used to fund the development and running of the event.
