Urgent Support for my Brother's Diagnosis

Hi friends, family, community, and loved ones. We are reaching out to you as Hoa Huynh and Hien Huynh on behalf of our beloved younger brother, Hau Huynh.

For the past 6 months Hau has been battling an unknown auto immune progressive disease that has wreaked havoc throughout his body systems, digestive, quality of life, and mental well being.

On the onset of the condition Hau was afflicted with chest pain, digestive issues and rapid weight loss of 30lbs in the span of the first month. (June 2023)

His throat swelled, causing breathing and swallowing obstacles, alongside waking up in the middle of the night with chest and lung pains.

With weeks of scheduling appointments with his health care provider and Emergency Room visits they could not pinpoint a precise diagnosis. As his symptoms worsened, and the obstacles of the health system - long appointment wait times, and only general coverage, Hau took an emergency trip to Vietnam to seek out more rapid care.

August - October 2023

During his trip he sought numerous GI Doctors, Rheumatologists, Neurologist, Physical Therapists, and ENT (Ear Nose & Throat doctor). He tested HLAB27 Positive an indicator of an autoimmune disease - immune system attacks your own cells. After uncovering HLAB27 positive, the Vietnam doctor recommended to go back to America for further testing.

October - December 2023

Back in the states Hau connected with a rheumatologist (was really difficult to find due to current health insurance), He tested positive for ANA - indicating the immune system has launched a misdirected attack on own tissue — His Primary care doctor informs him what he has is out of the current doctor control to help, and recommends Hau to find a more supported organization like kaiser / uc davis / sutter health.

At the moment Hau is grappling with on/off nausea, loose stools, chest pain, swollen lymph nodes in neck, weakening of bones and muscle and fluctuation in swelling of his throat to chest area. With symptoms alongside rapid weight loss doctor, acupuncturist, and physical therapist warn of possible Cancer, Lymphoma, Systematic Lupus or possible bacteria/viral virus.

As his symptoms progresses we worry that time is at stake. If it is a progressive condition - Hau is in urgent need for a more expedited health insurance and provider to diagnose his ailment.
