Story

Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am Maria Allen's daughter in law. Maria's husband passed away on Thursday August 13th, 2020 in Dallas, Texas; from terminal pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, my mother in law is also dealing with medical conditions, she is currently weighing 94lbs. She however, with the grace of God, was able to muster enough courage and strength to visit her husband in Texas, taking 2 flights and enduring excruciating pain. Maria was able to say her final goodbyes and expected to return home, to the home she shared with her husband in Costa Mesa, California. Unfortunately, while he was in his final hours of life, she was locked out of her home. This was Maria's residence for seven years.  Maria travelled with only the bare minimum. She cannot even access any paperwork needed from her home to get the medical attention she needs. Jay's wishes were for his wife to return home and get medical help.

We'd like to believe that Jay did want the best for Maria, and wanted her taken care of. But as of now she has been shut out. She is completely devastated and heartbroken.

Please, we ask, if you can help in any way know that it would be greatly appreciated. If anyone out there knows a lawyer that would donate some of their time, which we know is valuable, it would be greatly appreciated. Any funds raised will be used for any legal counsel and to cover any medical expenses.

We know that we cannot alleviate her pain and loss, but perhaps knowing that there is a community of people behind her, will help her feel supported and not alone.

Respectfully,
Jennifer and Gustavo
